ALTERNATIVE CARBON provides all services required to implement offset projects, from the design to the sale of carbon credits.

ALTERNATIVE CARBON works with international companies to address their greenhouse gas emission regulatory needs and to develop additional sources of income through the use of carbon finance. We work on a wide spectrum of project types to earn carbon offsets. These include, but are not limited to: renewable energy (photovoltaic), biomass, wind; industrial energy efficiency; methane capture in landfills, wastewater treatment systems; waste recycling; industrial fuel switch; new energy efficient technologies; transportation and urban development.

The team at ALTERNATIVE CARBON manages and controls each step of the projects, to maximize the origination and the value of the carbon credits:

• Financings for implementing A/R, REDD, IFM, renewable energy, and biogas projects

• Securing required governmental approvals

• Establishment of baselines and forest management plans 

• Forestry and technical inventories, and carbon-stock assessment

• Production of PINs and PDDs

• Negotiation and finalization of contractual agreements

• Project validation, and emission of certified carbon credits by the appropriate body
